The Black Muslimahs Shining series highlights the remarkable achievements and contributions of Black Muslim women across Canada. Through this platform, we amplify their voices, celebrate their successes, and recognize their invaluable impact on their communities.
Each year, CCMW spotlights inspiring women who embody resilience, leadership, and empowerment. To bring this commitment into action, CCMW has also established the Black Muslimahs Shining Scholarship, designed to invest directly in the next generation of Black Muslimah leaders by supporting their education and helping to remove financial barriers to their academic and professional journeys.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the two-part, in-person gathering centring Black Muslim women! The event began with an intentional networking social and opened into a community vendor market spotlighting Black Muslimah-owned businesses.
