The Digital Anti-Racism Education (DARE) Program was created by the Canadian Council of Muslim Women (CCMW), with funding from the Government of Canada in response to the rapid rise of online hate, Islamophobia, and racism across digital spaces in Canada. As social media and online platforms increasingly shape public discourse, racialized communities – particularly Muslim women and girls – have been disproportionately targeted by misinformation, harassment, and discrimination.
