Join the Canadian Council of Muslim Women Durham Region Chapter as they present a fun event for families about Ramadan and Eid! Families will learn about the month of fasting, the lunar calendar, and how Eid is celebrated. Canadian author Aayesha Ahmed will read her book "Do You See It - An Eid Adventure" and participate in a Q&A session. Afterward, there will be activities for participants such as crafts, colouring, and henna from Hamnah the Henna Artist. Supplies will be provided.

Aayesha Ahmed is an Early Childhood Educator, with a background in psychology. She uses her love of storytelling to incorporate her Pakistani culture and heritage into her writing.
