Ganiyat Sadiq is a Nigerian-Canadian advocate and researcher dedicated to addressing systemic barriers faced by marginalized communities. She is the Co-Founder and former Co-Executive Officer External of the Black Inclusion Association. Ganiyat holds a Master’s in International Affairs from Carleton University, specializing in International Development Policy and African Studies. She holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Honours Political Science and International Relations from the University of Calgary, as well as a Certificate in Pluralism and Global Citizenship. Currently, Ganiyat is pursuing her PhD in Global Governance with an Interdisciplinary Graduate Diploma in Climate Change. From February 2023 to March 2025, Ganiyat served on the Prime Minister’s Youth Council.
