WWI Honouree

Imtisaal Mian

This past spring, Imtisaal Mian graduated in the top 5% of her class from Harvard University with a degree in Bioengineering and a minor in English. At Harvard, she was involved with the Global Alliance for Medical Innovation, the University Blood Initiative, the Harvard Health Policy Review, and PBHA, Harvard’s public service organization.

She is also the co-founder and director of a national health innovation and STEM non-profit called NOVA, which runs a semester-long research program for high school students every year. In the past, she has worked at The Hospital for Sick Children, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Trillium doing cardiology research. Imtisaal is passionate about public service, healthcare accessibility, and writing and hopes to see her work impact vulnerable populations positively.
