In this scholarly article, CCMW Executive Director Nuzhat Jafri and her co-authors examine the evolution of Muslim philanthropy and its foundations in Islamic traditions of giving. The publication explores how practices such as zakat, sadaqah, and waqf contribute to community well-being and social impact, while challenging conventional definitions of philanthropy through a Muslim lens.
