This session provides an accessible introduction to the legal protections available to individuals experiencing threats, harassment, family violence, or concerns involving firearms. Participants will learn about peace bonds, restraining orders, emergency protection orders, probation conditions, and Canadian red flag firearm laws. The session will explain what these remedies are, when they may be appropriate, how to seek them, and what happens once an order is in place.
