At CCMW, we are working with Peace Days 2026, who are organizing a Canada-wide Peace Week from September 21 to October 2.

The Event
In our afternoon together, we will welcome guests from interfaith dialogue as well as other individuals and groups promoting peace and coexistence worldwide. It will be an opportunity to meet and greet our neighbours and fellow Montrealers, Canadians and Quebecers, and to demonstrate that Muslims follow a faith with peace as a core value.
What’s Planned
- Translation of a peace verse from the Quran
- A craft table
- Silent auction
- A peace-themed meditation exercise
- A whiteboard for collective posting of our intentions for peace
- Plenty of opportunities for chat and sharing — and of course, chai, samosas and homemade baked goodies!
