Event: An Introduction to the History of Arabic Calligraphy – Oct 30th

The Canadian Council of Muslim Women (CCMW), in collaboration with McGill University, invites you to an engaging presentation titled “An Introduction to the History of Arabic Calligraphy,” led by Yaser Watad.

This session will explore the beauty, history, and evolution of Arabic calligraphy – an art form that has shaped Islamic culture and visual expression for centuries. Participants will gain insight into the various styles, techniques, and cultural influences that make Arabic calligraphy both a spiritual and artistic tradition.
