Engaging Muslim Women in Civic and Social Change

The Canadian Council of Muslim Women (CCMW) was established in 1982 when a group of Muslim women from across Canada, attending a conference Winnipeg, Manitoba, observed that there was no voice representing Muslim women on issues that affect their lives. CCMW is a national non-profit organization of believing women, committed to the equality, equity, and empowerment of Muslim women.
