As part of Black History Month, the Canadian Council of Muslim Women (CCMW) invites you to our Black Muslimah Networking Social & Market — a two-part in-person gathering that centres Black Muslim women while welcoming the wider community to celebrate and support Black Muslimahs.
Part One: Black Muslimah Networking Social
The first portion of the event is intentionally created for Black Muslim women.
Black Muslim women are invited to a networking social designed for meaningful connection beyond surface-level introductions. This lightly facilitated space creates room to connect over professional journeys, lived experiences, and shared realities in a way that prioritizes safety, belonging, and mutual support.
Whether you’re a student, entrepreneur, creative, professional, or community leader, this space is for you to meet others who understand the unique experiences of navigating the world as a Black Muslim woman.
Part Two: Black Muslimah Vendor Market (Open to All)
This portion invites the wider Muslim and allied community to show up in tangible ways by supporting Black Muslimah-owned businesses. The market will feature:
Habooba (Sudanese snacks)
Come shop, connect, and celebrate Black Muslimah excellence.
