CCMW & Canadian Women for Women in Afghanistan Conference. Afghanistan Today
– Canadians as Global Citizens. October 2004. Calgary
Canadian Women for Women in Afghanistan is pleased to host this National Conference in partnership with the Canadian Council of Muslim Women. The conference will bring together members from many of our volunteer chapters across Canada, as well as special guest speakers and members of the public. We estimate between 80 and 300 participants at the various events. The goal of the conference is to provide Canadians, including educators, students and all individuals interested in global social justice and human rights issues, with a deeper understanding of the tangible ways Canadians can make a positive difference in the lives of Afghan people today.
PLEASE JOIN US during one or all of the following three public events:
Fundraising Dinner, Conference Sessions and Town Hall!
